You know how ages ago I said this story would be about 5 chapters? …Well, it’s increased to at least 6. It’s definitely going to be longer than my original estimate, that’s for sure.

The last name Lucy gives here, Charming, comes from Bella Charming from ITV’s Jekyll and Hyde. She’s one of the major inspirations for Lucy’s character here, so naturally I wanted to allude to her.

I mentioned seeing the Jekyll and Hyde musical a few weeks ago– update: I’ve now gone a second time! And I have a third scheduled this weekend. I’m lucky that tickets are super affordable lol. It’s a non-equity, smaller theatre, but the actors are so freakin’ good, and because I’m obviously Normal about Jekyll & Hyde, I’ve been seeing it with as many friends as possible.
