If you’re wondering why Carew has these demonic-angelic-gryphon-lion things outside his mansion, I was GOING to draw regular lions but got distracted by these winged, horned lions in Regent’s Park, London that looked WAY cooler. Plus, it adds some fun symbolic meaning.

Last weekend I attended a Doctor Who convention, Chicago TARDIS. Doctor Who is one of my biggest and longest-running hyperfixations, and it was a total blast. There were SO many amazing cosplays, and someone had brought a remote controlled K9 I got to pet. I dunno why, but it’s just so delightful to pet a silly little robot dog. Also, because of course I did, I bought a copy of Big Finish’s Jekyll and Hyde. Leave it to me to sniff out the one and only thing there related to my current fixation, lol.
