Recently, I ordered a small quantity of vests for myself. They’ve been one of my favorite clothing items lately, which is unsurprisingly because of the good ol’ gothic lit hyperfixation. Not only do they look good with the typical button up + neckwear look, but they’re fun to pair with modern jackets too. I just wish autumn would hurry it up with the colder weather over here, as vests can get real warm real quickly… hasn’t stopped me from wearing them though, haha. Speaking of purchases influenced by gothic lit, I also bought a fancy looking letter opener. I have a nasty habit of ignoring all my mail for… er, probably a month or two before I actually open & go through it. Unless it’s a package of course… anyway, it’s mostly junk, but occasionally I end up with something important I need to deal with. The letter opener is a trick to bribe my brain into doing chores by giving me blorbo thoughts, haha. If you haven’t used a letter opener before, it’s WAY more fun and easy than my usual method of ripping them open. I definitely recommend – it’s not often that you can add more knives to something with a positive result!
