I realized only after I was drawing him writhing in agony that my Enfield design has some distinctly Mumbo Jumbo qualities to him. Such is the curse of the moustache, I suppose.

Since the transformation changes your worldview, I wanted to reflect this by having the color palette shift Danny Phantom-style. Everything is just a bit more lurid, a bit more spooky~

It’s interesting designing more than one hyde character. With just Jekyll, you can take your favorite book traits or what have you and call it done– but now I have to consider what would vary from person to person… anyway hyde!Enfield is inspired a bit by TGS!Hyde, a bit by this Hyde design from prettyinaccurate.
