Jekyll’s laboratory was fun to design– it’s a reupholstered operating theatre as per book canon, which gives it a fun shape. I love the idea that the form of the place remains to remind everyone of its once gruesome purpose, but heyyyy you shouldn’t worry about that! We slapped a coat of paint on that thing and doesn’t it look so much more hospitable? :3c

Color scheme was also something I was excited for- I knew I wanted the lab to be very warm and friendly, but contrasted by eerie potion lighting. Jekyll in that last panel was particularly fun to do (though I have– hold on let me count– 14 whole adjustment layers on it, yikes. I’ve gotta refine my coloring process so bad, lmao).
