Oooooooh, that’s too bad Utterson! Looks like Lanyon got too emotional and can’t spill any more of the plot. And right when it was getting good, eh?

When I was studying animation in college, a big critique my professors had for me was, when drawing storyboards, I needed to vary up the camera shots much, much more. (I had a nasty habit of drawing waist-up shots only.) This advice very much applies to comics as well– and lately, I feel I’ve been drawing far too many headshots. Hopefully this page feels a bit more diverse!

Also… in-between posting last week’s page and this one, I was informed of a job opportunity, interviewed, and hired on. Which is an insanely fast turnaround. I’m working more hours with this new place, so I’m hoping it doesn’t take up too much of my time. It’s been stressful learning all the new duties I have already– I only have three days with the previous employee before she retires, so I can only hope I get just enough training to scrape by, haha.
