Happy November! Now that we’re past Halloween, I’d like to share my costume this year! …big surprise, I dressed up as Edward Hyde (and it seems half the fandom did as well, lol.) So here’s me ready to administer the sinister potion~

Technically, I’m cheating, because last year I was Dr. Jekyll (and my lovely sibling played my Hyde). Although, despite being the same character, the costumes are pretty different!

My Halloween consisted of visiting a haunted house (fun, but I wish scary stuff affected me more. I never really jump even though the actors are doing great!) and hanging out with friends. The night was pretty casual except for one moment when my car got booted after we stepped out to grab pizza we ordered. Somehow I managed to talk my way out of the ticket though?? Which is kind of hilarious to do in my particular costume lol.

Also, my costume included a minimal amount of makeup to add tired shadows to my eyes and make my eyebrows a bit more primitive, but I guess it was enough to mess with my face ID? My phone wouldn’t recognize me when I went to pay my friend back for the pizza. Which is hilarious, but also a GREAT modern version of the novella scene when Hyde had to duck back into his house to sign a check as Jekyll.
