Don’t pay too much attention to the street names here. We live in a fantasy version of London in which I don’t have to think too hard about geography, much like we live in the year 18XX where I don't have to think to hard about fashion/politics/etc.

I snuck in a literary reference with that pub name. Relatedly, may I humbly promote some ACD Sherlock art I did recently? This year, a major art goal of mine is to develop a better "illustrative" style, in part because I want to have more eye-catching prints when I table at cons. Ergo, if you've been following my non-comic art journey you'll notice a lot of variety in technique. I'm pretty happy with this piece! I may do some more classic/gothic literature illustrations in this style-- I have a few ideas poking around, but we'll see what comes to fruition.
