I’m not 100% sure on the historical accuracy, but this is what I’ve logiced out: Our staff seizing this rude stranger here are not professional bodyguards – Carew has no real reason to hire anything like that, and in the rare case someone gets too drunk and acts unseemly, he can have his regular staff sort it out. These two are the closest individuals, who also glimpsed the man run onto the stage from behind the curtain – a techie who’s working the curtain pulleys and a housekeeper-type lady who’s coordinating performer sets and ordering staff around behind-the-scenes.
I mentioned a bit ago I was tabling at Dibscon– this has since happened and it was a blast! Shoutout to the handful of people I got to talk to about various Jekyll & Hyde webcomics, haha. Also, now that this convention pushed me to finalize some products, expect the launch of my online store later this week (ft. some exciting merch for this comic I’m excited to debut!)
