When I was at a con the other week, they had guests performing various musical acts. A lot of them were pretty indie, and there was this one lady who introduced her act by explaining she's a music historian and is performing music written by Claribel, an 1860s version of a pop star. Also, I tried proper restaurant ramen the other day. I've been avoiding it because quite frankly the instant stuff at home is pretty mid, and nearly a decade ago I had a bad allergic reaction to the dish, so I'm hesitant to order it unless I know exactly what's in it. And I also thought I wouldn't like it that much but... it was freakin' delicious!! I want more!!
